Chakras are believed to be areas of concentrated and focused energy through out the body. Having balanced chakras is said to promote physical, emtional  & spiritual well being. This is because the bodies 'energy' flows freely aiding a sense of harmony and vitality. There are seven main chakras, each associated with its own colour and with one or more semi precious stones.
 
My interpretation is:
Amethyst - Crown 
Lapis Lazuli - Third Eye
Turquoise - Throat
Aventurine - Heart
Gold Tiger Eye - Solar Plexus
Carnelian - Navel
Red Jasper - Root
 
This hand knotted necklace is made using 4mm and 6mm Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, Aventurine, Gold Tigers Eye, Carnelian & Red jasper round beads with tiny bronze coloured glass seed beads.
 
~ Light weight, delicate necklace, 18" (45cm) in length made using incredibly strong nylon thread in golden brown.
~ All metal components are Sterling Silver.
~ Comes on a Legend card with the potential qualities of the semi-precious stones.

Each piece of jewellery has been individually handmade by me (Lorna Speight) for the Spirit Of Colour Jewellery range. For each item I carefully select the semi-precious beads and use quality components to ensure a high standard.
 
This beautiful necklace is a triple strand and because of the way this it is made and finished the beads appear random. This gives the lovely gentle effect of colour. The thread allows the necklace to follow the line of your neck, giving a natural and relaxed look to your jewellery.
 
As I make each piece of jewellery by hand I can usually dispatch within 5 days.
 
Shades may vary slightly due to the natural quality of the stones.
The Turquoise used is reconstituted.
