Chakras are believed to be areas of concentrated and focused energy through out the body. Having balanced chakras is said to promote physical, emtional  & spiritual well being. This is because the bodies 'energy' flows freely aiding a sense of harmony and vitality. There are seven main chakras, each associated with its own colour and with one or more semi precious stones.
 
My interpretation is:
Amethyst - Crown 
Lapis Lazuli - Third Eye
Turquoise - Throat
Aventurine - Heart
Gold Tiger Eye - Solar Plexus
Carnelian - Navel
Red Jasper - Root
 
These classically simple circle Chakra earrings are made using 4mm gemstone beads and bronze coloured glass seed beads.
